Hayden Saunier is the author of two poetry collections, Tips for Domestic Travel (Black Lawrence Press, 2009) and Say Luck, which won the Gell Poetry Prize, selected by Laure-Anne Bosselaar, due out in October 2013. Her work has appeared widely and has been awarded the Pablo Neruda Prize, the Rattle Poetry Prize and the Robert Fraser Award for Poetry. A Bucks County Poet Laureate, she has received fellowships to the Vermont Studio Center and has been twice nominated for a Pushcart Prize. An actress and voice-over performer, her acting credits include The Sixth Sense, Philadelphia Diary, Hack, Do No Harm, the voice of a broken-down stove for Ikea, and dozens of roles in the theatre. Hayden is a graduate of the University of Virginia and holds a M.F.A. in poetry from the Bennington Writing Seminars. Raised in Charlottesville, Virginia, she now lives outside Philadelphia.
